Matt Skinner is a wine writer, consultant and educator. He is the author of the international bestseller Thirsty Work, which was awarded 'Best Educational Wine Book UK' at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in 2005 and has sold in 14 countries and 10 languages, and Heard it Through the Grapevine, which is published this year. This is the fourth edition of his annual wine-buying guide, The Juice. Matt has twice been short-listed for the IWSC International Communicator of the Year Award and is consultant to clients around the world, including Jamie Oliver's restaurant group, Fifteen, which he helped to establish. He makes regular contributions to Waitrose Food Illustrated (UK), GQ Australia and jamieoliver.com, and has appeared on ITV's Saturday Cooks, Daily Cooks, UKTV Food's Great Food Live and Food Uncut. While much of his time is spent on the road, Matt calls Melbourne, Australia home.
