From the author who brought you 100 Greatest Cycling Climbs comes another essential guide to vertical pain. This time Simon Warren has turned his attention to the famous climbs of Belgium and the ascents that define the world's greatest single-day bike races. From the rugged cobbles of the Tour of Flanders (or De Ronde), which takes place in early April each year, to the jagged peaks of Liege-Bastogne-Liege, also in April, and beyond, this pocket guide pinpoints fifty climbs that once ridden will give a true appreciation of the races they epitomise. If you thought Belgium was flat . . . think again.
