When I was first inspired to write this book I had no clue on how many lives it would touch. I'm so glad that I allowed myself to be challenged by a very dear friend to put pen to paper and release the first edition. Since the initial release I have been completely humbled by the comments from so many mothers who couldn't say thank you enough to me for providing them with an inside view on how boys think and respond to being raised without a father. Through my personal experience and the experiences of others I have been able to expose many of the pitfalls that mothers fall into when raising their sons alone. I never would have imagined that men would comment on the book they way they have. From them being able to identify with the material personally to being able to recognize why their sons are the way they are. Men have been able to admit that even though they may be in the home, their lack of involvement in the lives of their sons has produced a "Momma's Boy". This is not a book just for mothers but for all parents of sons. In response to the many comments I've received I am releasing the 2nd edition of "How To Raise A Man.. Not A Momma's Boy" which highlights some of the key points that when embraced and applied will help you to raise your son successfully. My hope is that you do more than read this book, but apply it. This book is for parents who's goal is to better understand their sons and do their best to raise their sons to become healthy men.

Author Description
Born in South Baltimore Maryland to young parents in 1966, after his parents divorced, Glenn was raised by a single mother. Although he experienced a great deal of trauma in his life as a child, Glenn always seemed to have a magnetic personality that made it very easy to capture the attention of others. This quality would ultimately serve to be one of his greatest assets and liabilities. After High School he joined the Army and served as a Combat Engineer, this experience served as the introduction to the world of leadership. During his military service, Glenn later began serving the youth of his local church and there found one of his many passions, to make a difference in the lives of children. As a youth worker Glenn has touched hundreds of students' lives over the last 20yrs. After his military service tour, he shortly went into the broadcasting industry where he continued to grow as a leader, starting as an intern, to on-air announcer, to Program Director. He later became one of the youngest Station Managers for (at that time) the top ranked Gospel radio station in the Washington DC radio market. Glenn is still a voice talent along with a motivational speaker which he does through his companies V-Box Productions and Constant Coaching. Today he serves as the Campus Pastor for the Soul Factory Theatre Church-Atlanta, where Deron Cloud is Lead Pastor; inspiring, motivating, teaching, training and ultimately leading others to understand, that it's not where a man starts that matters, it's where he finishes that counts. Glenn and his wife Sheri are the parents of two children, and they currently reside in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area.
