Adversity quotient is learned and therefore can be improved. Hence, findings of the study will help increase knowledge on adversity quotient that leads to school heads being more resilient in facing challenges. In particular, the result of the study will benefit the following;Policymakers can obtain data from the study that can be codified for use in the formulation of policies relative to the organization and operation of the schools. Curriculum developers may include and consider the present studies of AQ, personality traits and work performance in developing the curriculum. Human Resource Officers will be guided on how to create programs for staff development and performance management. For school heads, It will help them identify specific AQ characteristics and personality traits which could influence their work performance. Finally, the researcher finds this study very important because it will awaken the school heads to conconduct periodic self-assessment to improve their work performance.

For last 9 years, I am a Public Secondary Teacher in the Schools Division of Aurora. At present, I am appointed as Head Teacher I at Dikapinisan National High School. In pursuit to my professional growth, I earned my Doctor of Education major in Educational Management at Wesleyan University Philippines.
