Born and brought up on a woody hill near the Arabian Sea in Bandra, Mumbai, Pooja Lulla's love for books began at a very early age when she received a steady diet of storyboks and comics from her parents. Toda, she is the author of the much acclaimed children's novel Angels and a Half, The Seven Hills of Christmas and several other picture books and stories. Besides children's books, Pooja also writes scripts for animation, designs computer games and creates crossword and rebus puzzles. Chote Meow is Pooja's fist graphic novel with Campfire. She claims that it is based upon a true story of a young cat that used to sing outside her window.
