Description

Achieng continues to regret her decision to respond to calls meant for their dog, Kulukulu. Enjoying a happy moment with her peers while playing with a skipping rope, a junior pupil in her school innocently unaware of the consequences applauds her skills in jumping over the rope but unfortunately refers to her by her bad name, Kulukulu. Achieng losses her tempers and in a fit of pique, pounces on the young Class One pupil with a force that leaves the pupil unconscious. Fellow pupils sympathizing with the victim rush to her rescue but things go out of hand forcing the school authority and worst, law enforcers to intervene. Achieng who has never before rubbed shoulders with law enforcers tries to flee but her custodians take precautions to keep her on hold as efforts to save Dolly, the victim continue. The police officer's voice over the radio call at the hospital giving reports of the latest developments pertaining to the assault send a cold chill down her spine. Achieng's hopes crumble to trash and she collapses, forcing the medical attendants to include her in the list of patients in need of first aid. Dolly bounces back to life and her voice pumps a breath of life to Achieng who had so far developed a condition that engaged the physicians in a struggle to rescue her. Achieng flees from the scene on seeing the enraged Dolly's mother whose entry into the emergency room puts anybody responsible at a risk of the attack from a mother who almost lost her beloved daughter to the cruel hands of Achieng. Kulukulu, the Bad Name volume 2, a sequel of volume 1 brings in juicier tales that keeps the reader flipping over the pages to read what transpired incident after incident.
