Twenty years ago, Kate Johansson got her first field-bred Labrador Retriever puppy who was seven months old at the time. Upon bringing him home, she became completely overwhelmed by his boundless energy and his wild, untrained ways. Not having the experience or skill to manage him at first was incredibly stressful. Kate has spent the last 20 years as a student and teacher of dog training. Her passion led her to open Fast Pup Dog Training in Tacoma and Issaquah, Washington in order to help other dogs and families live successfully together. Kate uses a practical approach she describes as fair and balanced training in order to quickly help remodel the dog-human relationship.
