He is also a visiting distinguished professor of music education at West Chester University. He is the author of Evoking Sound: The Choral Warm-Up, The Musician's Soul, and The Musician's Spirit and the editor of several choral series that bear his name. He lives in Yardley, Pennsylvania. Nova Thomas is an internationally acclaimed soprano, director of the music theater program at Rider University, and the chair of the voice and speech program at the New School for Drama of the New School University in New York.
