Evelyn Sondag was born in Central Florida where she lived untill the age of five. Her family moved to Southern California where she lived until she was thirteen years old. After her father was laid off from his job at Rocketdyne, Evelyn and her family returned to Central Florida. In 1992 Evelyn met her husband Andrew and moved to Southern Illinois where she lives now. She has three children, and five grandchildren. When her youngest began school Evelyn filled her spare time with writing poetry, gardening, and sewing. She made one of her poems into a hard cover book in 2011 to send as a birthday gift to her first grandchild. A friend suggested that she upload the book on amazon. The title of the book is "I Bought a Little Kitty." Evelyn also loves photography and helped her husband with his portrait business. Most of the kitten pictures were taken by her, with her Nikon camera. She moved to Florida for a short time, but is now back in Illinois. She intends to complete a few more rhyming books, and one children's fantasy novel in the near future.
