Description

CAD, or computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), is the use of computer technology for the design of any Electrical Components. CAD software replaces manual drafting with an automated process. Electrical Transformer is a static device which is used to transform the electricity from primary winding to secondary winding without a change in frequency and power. A three phase 100 KVA distribution transformer is designed in AUTOCAD mechanical by using particular dimensions. Which are derived by substituting the primary voltage, primary current, secondary voltage and secondary current in specific formulae to find out the calculations like core area, window area, stack height, limb width, and gross core area? By using these calculations at the basic level the length breadth and height of the core is calculated accurately which are utilized to make the perfect design.
