Cats are not demonstrative like dogs, and do not submit to training like the horse. But many persons who have given their confidence to Puss received hers in return. Qualities and affections bring cats into sympathy with their maters. Such traits will be made manifest to anyone who even partially takes Puss into fellowship; and whoever puts himself on good terms with cat, will find his association marked by wonderful examples of intelligence and affection.
