Robert Frost said: poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and thought has found words.
Plutarch puts it this way: painting is silent poetry and poetry is painting that speaks.
In "Treasures in the deep" Alex uses compelling words to compose poetries that are entertaining, relatable, as well as mental engaging in the most creative way possible. A number of these poetries came from his personal struggles, while the rest represent inspirations from his day to day observation of life, people, things, bizarre moments and his collective experience over the years.

Everything is flipped, chaos is making progress but calm has no peace.
Just like the title "Treasures in the deep" the poetries in this book would place a lot of demand on the mind to go beneath each line of poetry to find the treasures within. Alex style of poetry take mostly human face rather than been abstract and difficult to understand. He went further to attach a uniquely designed artworks to each poetry which represents the intent of each piece. The poetries in this book are the best I have ever read in a long time.
