In Plans We Made Simon Moreton remembers teenage years spent in the suburbs of South East England in the late 1990s. Moreton's quiet, minimal pencil drawings beautifully evoke a nostalgic longing for a time long gone. Moreton is a master of the minimal cartooning wave originated by John Porcellino. Simon Moreton is an artist and zine-maker based in Bristol, England. He has been self-publishing his acclaimed Smoo Comics since 2008. He has been published by Avery Hill (UK), Retrofit (US), and Sotokaramita (Japan), and in numerous anthologies including kus! comics and DECADENCE. His art has been exhibited internationally.
