Regardless of breed, all dogs need regular grooming appointments to stay healthy and fit. Even though there are many different dog breeds, all of them receive nearly the same grooming, with the exception of coat care. Nail trimming, ear cleaning, brushing one's teeth, and regular washing are some of the grooming practises that are most popular. However, the level of care and the range of grooming for a specific dog depends on its coat; the longer the hair, the more work required for grooming; the shorter the hair, the less attention required.
