Felicity Beadsmoore (1988-) was born in Brisbane, Queensland. She began writing stories as a young child, rewriting and illustrating her own picture books. In her youth, she was a competitive swimmer, a weekend artist and a wannabe fashion designer. At age 12, after being encouraged by her teacher to submit an entry, Felicity was accepted into the 2000 Meanjin Writer's Camp. She has a degree in Creative Writing from Queensland University of Technology and has published six books: Innocently Evil, The Sweet Call of Trouble, Love Torn, Hybridity and the children's picture books Under The Stairs and Playing in the Park.
