Robert L. Brawley is Albert G. McGaw Professor of New Testament Emeritus at McCormick Theological Seminary. He is author of Text to Text Pours Forth Speech: Voices of Scripture in Luke-Acts, Centering on God: Method and Message in Luke-Acts, and Luke-Acts and the Jews: Conflict, Apology, and Conciliation. He has edited and contributed to two volumes on biblical ethics: Character Ethics and the New Testament: Moral
Dimensions of Scripture and Biblical Ethics and Homosexuality: Listening to Scripture. Brawley also served as co-chair of the Character Ethics and Biblical Interpretation Group of the Society of Biblical Literature.
