DEBORAH GRAY has had an interest in healthy eating since her teens when she began working as a Saturday assistant in a trendy health food cafe in London. Following a spell working in publishing in California, she returned to London and began her career in cookery publishing. She went on to write a number of cookery books, including 500 Vegan Recipes, 500 Quick Meals, 500 Light Meals, The Green Website Guide for Better Living, and numerous family cookbooks. She has been the cookery editor on very many more. She returned to America with her family, but is now settled in Wiltshire where she has access to home-grown and fresh farm produce, and wonderful country air.
